Tokyo to Shizuoka (without Japan Rail Pass)?

Hi.
What would be the best rail option for me to take from Shinagawa area in Tokyo right up to Fujieda in Shizuoka? I figured it would not be worth it to get the Japan Rail Pass as I wouldn't be traveling that intensively as I will be staying about one week in Fujieda itself. But looking at Hyperdia, it seems to be a complicated route.
Please advise. Thank you.

Ummm looking at it in google map it seems to be very straightforward: Shinagawa to Shizuoka by Shinkansen and then change to Tokaido Line for an other 20 min and you are at your destination
Enjoy your trip to Japan!

If you take Shinkansen and then commuter train, it will take 90-100 min and 6150 yen (non-reserved seat). If you do not take Shinkansen but use only commuter trains it will take 200 min and 3670 yen (you will not need to pay the Shinkansen fee).
