Cherry Blossom in Tokyo and in Osaka

Hello,
We will arrive Tokyo on March 29th and will go to Osaka on April 3rd-8th.
Can we still enjoy the peak of the cherry blossom on both locations?

Tokyo should still be at its peak, and in Osaka you may still be able to catch the petal blizzards which many consider a particularly attractive part of the season. In case bad weather brings the season in Osaka to an earlier end, it should still be possible to easily see blossoms on side trips to nearby destinations, such as Kyoto, Hikone or Yoshinoyama. Hi!
It's definitely not peak in Osaka yet, but a friend last night posted some pictures in Osaka near her office and the trees are at least 1/3 open. Her office is about 1 km from Osaka Castle to give some perspective.
