Bathroom Air Con use for dehumidifying?

Hi there,
I'm wondering if we can use the built in air con in our bathroom as a dehumidifier when having a shower/bath? Opening the window doesn't seem to be working so good, and have noticed a bit of mold building up.

Sure, you can run the AC. Check the controls; many AC units even have a separate dehumidifier setting, which will run the fan motor at a specified speed.
Dealing with mildew and mold is a perennial issue throughout Japan. An occasional treatment with bleach or カビキラー also helps.
