Is the above place (below route) cover by JR east pass (Nagano, Niigata)?

Tokyo to Ueno to Ushiku

Thanks!

Yes, covered.

Ushiku stn is closer to Ueno than Mito station.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ushiku_Station
But all LtdExp trains won't be stopping at this stn,
so return frTsuchiura stn 2 stops away or take a special rapid train without transfer fr Ueno.

"special rapid train" is no seat reservation, one of regular commuter train like this.

After Ushiku stn, take a local bus(Kanto bus) or a taxi about 20-30 min.

Hi Thanks for reply.

I check that Tokyo to Katsuta has direct train by LTD EXP HITACHI 7 (for eg), Katsuta to Tokyo also has direct train by LTD EXP HITACHI 6
is the above direct train covered under JR East Pass (Nagano, Niigata)?

or must travel the train with the "JR" word in front then it's covered under the JR East Pass?

Thanks!

Katsuta stn is next of Mito, see the JR Joban-line wiki again, pass covered.
LTD EXP HITACHI/TOKIWA both are JR's train, no worry.
