SunQ or Northern Kyushu Rail Pass

Hi guys!

We would be arriving Fukuoka on the night of May 27 and will go back to our country on the 31st.
I'm planning to head straight to Nagasaki after landing and would stay there for 1 full day.
Afterwards, will go to Huis Ten Bosch for a day and will go back to Fukuoka for 2days.

May 27 - Nagasaki
May 28- Nagasaki
May 29 - Huis Ten Bosch
May 30- Fukuoka
May 31- Fukuoka

Which pass do you think is more worth it for us?

You might better consider group discount tickets such as 2-mai kippu or 4-mai kippu of JR Kyushu.

2-mai kippu (reserved seat)

Fukuoka city area (including Hakata) - Huis Ten Bosch 5040 yen

2-mai kippu (base fare only)

Nagasaki - Sasebo (Huis Ten Bosch) 2680 yen.

The total fare is 13900 yen for two persons.

There are also 4-mai kippu which is even cheaper.
Fukuoka - Nagasaki 11000 yen

I could not find 4 mai kippu for Fukuoka - Huis Ten Bosch or Nagasaki - Huis Ten Bosch.

Thank you for your response but those fares are one way only right?
Isn't the 3 day passes (sunq and rail pass) more worth it?

P.S. We are 3 people travelling.

I think your traveling route is Hakata-Nagasaki-Huis Ten Bosch, so you need one way ticket for these sectors.

Bus pass wont pay off. It breaks even.

JR Kyushu 3 day northern pass should "IF" you use the most expensive options available.

Personally you ain't traveling far, I'd just buy one way bus tickets.

Direction doesn't matter for 2-mai kippu and 4-mai kippu. They are anonymous. One can use for single travel twice or return/single travel four times or return twice. Return travel for 2 passenger is also OK for 2 mai-kippu.
Although it's a little expensive than official sale, similar ticket can be purchased at ticket discount shop, for example one at subway Hakata station's Hakata side ticket gate.
