Day trip to furano

Hi all, im planning a hokkaido trip end april to early may. Im thinking of going to furano for a day from sapporo.
Is transportation in furano accessible? Thinking of visiting tomita farm, furano marche and cheese factory.

There are trains and buses going to Furano station from Sapporo.
Buses are express kind that goes directly to Furano, about 2.5 hr ride.
Trains require a transfer at Takikawa, fastest trains take about 2.1 hr.

How about within Furano? How do I get from Furano station to the cheese factory?
