Kindly advise can I use the above pass to travel to Kyushu from Osaka i.e. from Shin Osaka to Hakata?According to what I've read, Sanyo Shinkansen final destination is Okayama and some others the final destination is Hakata.
Please help.

Think you meant Kansai Wide Area Pass. It is no good for you. Not sure what your itinerary is. Just for info Shin-Osaka to Hakata on Shinkansen non-reserved one way is Y14,480. One way from Okayama to Hakata non-reserved is \11,880 A good pass will be JR Sanyo Sanin Area Pass for Y19,000 for 7 consecutive days https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2361_sanyo_sanin.htmlPass allows free reservation on all Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Hakata
