Day 8 - 5th May Go to Matsumoto for the day then take the bus to Takayama from Matsumoto, stay in Takayama for the night Day 9 - 6th May Spend the whole day in Takayama stay another night in Takayama Day 10 - 7th May take the bus to shirikawago on route to Kanazawa spend the night in Kanazawa Day 11 - 8th May spend the day in Kanazawa or possibly go on a side trip - spend the night in Kanazawa Day 12 - 9th May head back to Tokyo maybe do something near Tokyo? Day 13 - 10th May Go to enushima maybe or relax in Tokyo for the day. Day 14 - 11th May - HOME from Tokyo Haneda Airport need to be at airport by 10:35
Just a couple of things....
I have visited Kanazawa once before just to see the garden one August as a side trip between Kyoto / Tokyo
I have been to Yamadera / Matsushima but havn't done much else in Sendai
I spent half a day in Morioka between Hirosaki and Hiraizumi to see the rock breaking cherry tree and a temple.
I can't change days 1, 2 and 3 because i'm meeting my Japanese friends who has booked everything, he will leave May 1st in the morning.
Thanks for your time if you have read this and I hope to hear your feedback.
