I will start my Fuji/Hakone tour from Kawaguchiko and not Shinjuku or Odawara, How to purchase a FH freepass? What are my options? I will travel to Shinjuku after the tour of the area. Thanks

The Hakone Free and Fuji Hakone Passes cannot be purchased from Kawaguichiko area. Only from Odakyu railway stations.
You'll need to purchase a 1200 yen 2 day retro bus pass for The Fuji 5 Lakes area. Then buy one way tickets for buses between Kawaguchiko and Odawara, then get the 4000 yen 2 day Hakone Free Pass.
