"Conditional Approval" Meds 2018/5/10 06:50
Hi,

I searched a lot about this but couldn't find any answer. Japan has recently passed a new law that allows stem cell treatments to be available sooner to the public under conditional approval, meaning that scientists have to monitor patients after the treatment and report this to the approval agency.

My question is, can a foreigner go to Japan and have this released treatment? Or do they have to monitor all patients that get the treatment? After all it is on the market. if a Japanese with a background in either medicine or law can give feedback on this?
