Our Mt. Fuji Shibazakura tour for May 17 has been paid but was cancelled by JAPANICAN. The reason ". .since the flower blossom's season is over, so this tour has been stopped by conductor."
How can we attend the festival on our own on May 17, 2018?

It seems the flowering is indeed ending. Try to search for Shibazakura Festival 2018 in Facebook. Many posted their recent photos of the sites, it left only a small portion of the flower. The site is still open for access if you still want to go.

I'm planning to go to Shibazakura fest on 21 May, is it still a good time to visit ? We'll go from Shinjuku Station to Kawaguchiko Station and take the Shibazakura Liner from there, Is it possible to buy the shibazakura liner ticket from kawaguchiko ?
