From Tokyo to Kyoto temple for meditation 2018/5/16 21:16
I will travel from Tokyo to Kyoto by train. In Kyoto I will have a hotel or guestroom what is close by a temple. I will visit a temple for just meditation. What would be the best place for me?

If possible also close to the area where I can see the Geisha's..

Thank you

I have done morning zazen with the monks several times at temples that have a shukubo; maybe this helps you find a temple. Temples offering shukubo can be found around Japan, no doubt also in Kyoto.
