which hydrangea garden is this? 2018/5/18 10:46
I found a picture on tumblr of a hydrangea garden picture tooken somewhere in Japan, but the link to the flickr account is broken so I couldn't find info on where this picture was taken, since hydrangea season is coming up next month I would like to visit hydrangea gardens in Japan, I don't know if its possible to figure out which garden in Japan this is by just this picture but this is the picture of it: https://78.media.tumblr.com/caa1eff479a2c6da578ddce6b64c0ca7/tumblr_oo...

It seems `Ajisai-no-Sato`, a huge hydrangea garden in Shikoku-Chuo city, Ehime prefecture.

All right these 2 places are in Kansai/nearer Kansai region! :) since I live in Hyogo in Kansai its good. I go often to Shikoku island too (the 1st link in Shikoku Ehime by logica)but I looked at the 2 gardens from both of your responses and the pathway seems to match up with the Kyoto prefecture one (biwakoman's link) which is great since I have a car and Kyoto is the next prefecture over. Thanks both.

Yoshimine-dera does look lovely & nicely off the tourist trail too. I will have to see if I can make a visit next trip.

We just went to Yoshimine-dera today and that picture definitely looks like Yoshimine-dera to me.

Last year we went to Mimurotoji to see the hydrangeas and while it was beautiful and much easier to reach than Yoshimine-dera, if you're into hydrangea, Yoshimine-dera is spectacular. The hillsides are just covered in hydrangeas in various hues and there are other areas even more amazing than the shared picture. It is hard to reach and the climb to the temple from the bus stop I felt was steeper than the one to Arashiyama Monkey Park, but it was so worth it.

No, Yoshimine-dera is, already flickr is working.
(The response of the server is not good.)

Although there is no English tag, but "‘P•õŽ›(Yoshimine-dera)" is posted in Japanese.

We want you to remember the Kanji of "temple" and also "shrine".
Although there are a lot of basic manners and common sense
that we want you to learn perfectly before coming to Japan than Kanji.
(This distress is not for rkold.)
