Tokyo-Mt Fuji/Takayama/Kyoto/Osa 2018/5/21 17:15
Hi,

Re-planning my itinerary. Need expert advise how can i move from one point to another

2 nights Tokyo likely Shinjuku
2nights Mt Fuji (Tokyo-Mt Fuji)
2nights Takayama (How to go from Mt Fuji to takayama)
Is it recommended to stay at Takayama or Shirakawago?
2 nights in Kyoto (how to go from takayama or shirakawago to Kyoto)
2nights in Osaka

Appreciate some advice, thanks.

I assume that, like most people, by "Mount Fuji" you mean the Five Lakes area. There are direct buses to Takayama: http://bus.fujikyu.co.jp/highway/detail/id/38

Or you can go through Nagoya and take the Hida train.

Well, I think staying in Shirakawago is more special.
You will have dinner together with other travelers.
There is nothing in Shirakawago but nature is all around.

thank you so much for all your input. I guess i still need to hop from Tokyo to Takayama so i will need to move my itinerary again to cut down on my travelling time.

Thus it will be Mt Fuji on arrival, stay Tokyo then proceed to takayama.
