Hi
Went to visit Megijima today noticing several wanimals. A sign was warning for wild boar (not that I saw any), then I also noticed there were several eagle type birds flying around the higher elevations,like guarding some kind of nest or so.
At the top viewpoint I nearly stepped on a snake. Didn't get any picture of it as it disappeared as fast as I did, but it looked brownish.
I Know Habu snake is common in Ryiukyu islands but are they also common around other parts of Japan?
