skyliner ticket / 72 Tokyo Subway Ticket

I have a feeling that is a stupid question, but ....
I will go in July to Tokyo and I will buy a skyliner ticket +72 hours metro tokyo, according to the advertisement of the site below.

"A ticket for the fast and comfortable Skyliner limited express, connecting Narita Airport to the heart of Tokyo in as little as 41 minutes*1, and the Tokyo Subway Ticket, which allows users to freely ride any Tokyo subway line for 24, 48 or 72 hours, all at a specially low priced set."

my question is, can I also use the JR line with the 72 hour ticket?

No, JR is not subway. You cannot use that card on any JR line.

As John says, unfortunately you cant use it for JR, but nonetheless, its a good deal to take the Skyliner with the 72hr subway pass, I even bought another few subway passes after I used the first one when I was in Japan, as its so much cheaper then paying separately for each train ride...depending how much u use the train ofcourse, happy travels.
