Hi everyone,
I'll be in Japan on August and will be traveling around Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka using bus (Willer). Apparently there's long holiday in Japan during my visit because the bus price is quite high. I'm looking there's blackout date (10-15 August) on willer's site. Can you tell me what kind of holiday is it? And is there any festival happen on August?

That is the Obon Long weekend (August 13 - 15). It's the second of two major holidays (the other being Golden Week on May). Expect increased traffic traveling into the countryside and some small towns have less businesses and shops open.
