Hi all, we have never visit Japan and we need some help
We are planning to visit Japan in September (mid) and we want to visit Tokyo, Kyoto and Okinawa. Firstly, do you think that its worth to visit Okinawa in September, or its a bit risky with the rainy season? Also, do you believe that as we have not book our tickets yet, its better to visit Japan in November and miss Okinawa islands, but live the Autumn experience in the different areas of Japan?

Japan is great in both September and November. The things to note in November is the increased cost of accommodation due to Koyo (change of seasons). Also note that Okinawa still has typhoons in September so it's probably best to do this in the middle of your trip just in case flights get cancelled....
Okinawa might still be warm enough in November. Others in the forum will know better.
