Travelling with temporary package tour Visa

Dear members,
I would like to ask about my japan visa, i'm wondering whether i can use it legally in Japan for travelling.
I applied my visa through a tourist agency, and my visa noted "As a temporary (Package tour)". I can not join with the tour with that agency anymore because i have some problems in my schedule. But that agency hasn't have the new schedule which fit with me yet, so i intend to join in a tour with another tourist agency.
Is it legally for me to travel with another agency with that visa noted package tour. Actually i have checked information with some tourist agency, they have different answers so im not sure about it.
