Mishima to Numazu to Gotemba to Kawaguchiko

Hi,

1) anyone knows how long does it take from Mishima to Numazu and to Gotemba station by JR?


2) Also, I read somewhere that it takes around 70 mins from Gotemba to Kawaguchiko by bus. Can someone confirm I am right?


3) Are the buses luggage-friendly? As I am travelling with my kids, so I will have big luggage to tug along. are there storage places for the buses journey? I wouldn't want to cause trouble to other travellers with my big luggage taking the buses. T_T

You can do this kind of search using googlemaps' "Direction" function. Just select two points on the map or type the name like "Mishima station" and "Gotenba station" and choose train icon (for public transportation. After that you can confirm it using Hyperdia. And the result is 46-47 min.

They say:

Q:バス車内に持ち込める荷物に制限はありますか？
A:重さ10kg以内、長さ1ｍ以内のお手回り品については無料でお持込みいただけます。また、車内が混雑していない場合に限り、重さ30kg以内、長さ2ｍ以内のお手回り品について、普通運賃の半額をお支払いただき、車内にお持込みいただけます。

Q: Is there some restriction about our luggage?
A: You can bring in your baggage which is lighter than 10 kg and the length is less than 1 m for free. If the car is not crowded you can bring a luggage which is lighter than 30 kg and the length is less than 2 m by paying half the normal fee.

Note that there are direct buses from Mishima to Kawaguchiko which have trunk room. In this case you can put in your luggage into the trunk room, but it should be one item per one person.
