Shimoda - Cape Irozaki - Dogashima

Hi.

We will be visiting Shimoda in mid October using Shimoda city as our base.
We will not be renting a car, so will have to rely on public buses.

- is it feasible to visit both Cape Irozaki and Dogashima on the same day using public buses ?

- if not feasible, which one should I visit ? Any recommendations ?

- I read that Cape Tarai and Toji are interesting spots to visit near cape Irozaki.
Presumably these are not within walking distance to Cape Irozaki ?
If not, what is the bus timetable to these 2 spots ?

How many hours do you think we should allocate for Irozaki and Dogashima each ?

Irozaki : cruise takes 25 mins and how much time should we allocate to walk around the cape etc. ?

Dogashima : cruise takes 50 mins and how much time should be allocated to explore the surrounding area ?

We will not do serious walking or hiking as will be travelling with my mum, but some gentle walks are good for good views.

Just trying to plan my time.
