SW Honshu Update - Flooding 2018/7/9 23:55
Hi All,

Has anyone heard any more about the state of major roads and trains in the following prefectures?

(1) Hiroshima Prefecture
(2) Yamaguchi Prefecture
(3) Shimane Prefecture

I will be visiting these locations in a little over 3 days but have found limited info. Any comments would be helpful.

My driving will take me from Fukuyama - Matsue - Iwami Ginzan - Hagi - Tsuwano - Iwakuni and back to Fukuyama (about 6 days).

When?

Roads :
This is simple than local info that written in JP.
https://www.toyota.co.jp/jpn/auto/passable_route/map/
You can use like Google Maps. (map moving, enlarge "+")
Also Google Maps "traffic" as function may better for live info.

Railways :
See the Railway companies site, not only one.
Although this is fine, even if you use "Google translate",
it will be difficult to understand because no showing map.

Live Info are reflected even in transfer search of Google Maps, results add "!" icon.

Sorry for the lack of clarity. I was hoping that there was a simple website which states the roads and/or trains in the Chugoku region. I'm basically driving the following route: Fukuyama - Yonago/Matsue - Iwami Ginzan - Hagi - Tsuwano - Iwakuni - Fukuyama. I was worried that these locations were heavily affected by the flooding, but I forgot that google maps will help me check for roads which may be closed at present.
