Suhara or Kiso-Fukushima

Hi,

Finalizing October Chubu plans.

1 night Narai, Tsumago 2 nights. Any thoughts/experience on Suhara, Nojiri or Kiso-Fukushima on way to Tsumago? Just to visit, sight-see.

We dislike crowds, so will skip Tsumago-Magome walk, but Midono to Tsumago looks appealing.

Of the three, I would definitely choose Kiso-Fukushima. More picturesque than Suhara and Nojiri and more to do sightseeing wise. BTW I think you're making a mistake in skipping the Tsumago-Magome walk, which (unless things have changed since I visited a few years ago) will be less crowded than the towns at either end.

Appreciate your reply, I stopped checking for replies, didn't think anyone had comments.

Will definitely visit Kiso-Fukushima, and reconsider Tsumago-Magome.
