Sapporo multi-day parking

Hi there,
My husband and I will be staying in Sapporo for 3 days before leaving from New Chitose Airport. I have booked our car rental with OTS for the entire duration of our stay in Hokkaido.
We were going to park the rental car in the local parking lot with surcharge 1,000. However, it doesn't clarify if this is only for overnight or for the entire day. Does anyone know what it is usually?
I am also wondering if there are any places that we can park the car for multiple days that is cheaper. I tried googling and could not find one. We are staying in the Susukino area. So if we need to go a little further to park for multiple days I wouldn't mind. We don't plan on going anywhere far during our stay in Sapporo.
Any help would be appreciated!

it would be per night.
you wont find much cheaper than 1000 for long hours of parking.
