I have a Japan Rail Pass, and i Need to go from Tokyo to Kawaguchiko railway station. Whis is the more convenient route for me and my family as we are in 5 and we all have the JRpass?

The national JR Pass only covers part of the trip. Most people travelling by train from somewhere like Shinjuku to Otsuki and then the Fujikyu Railway services to Kawaguchiko.

Where exactly in Tokyo would you start from?
(From what station would you take your first train?)
