Conditions after flood in Onomichi

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the conditions are like in Onomichi, I know its been over a month since a flooding.

My partner and I were thinking of doing the Shimanami Kaido, we want to stay in Onomichi/Hiroshima for a couple of nights, and wanted some reassurance as to whether everything is up and running.

I am not aware of any tourist attractions or the Shimanami Kaido still being affected by the floods.
