How do the hokkaido 4 days flexi pass work?

Will be travelling from 11 oct- 20 oct.

Can I use the flexi 4 days pass as follows:

12 oct: sapporo to Hakodate

14 oct: Hakodate to lake Toya

16 oct: lake toya to sapporo

Last day still thinking of another location, any suggestion?

Perhaps a daytrip to Asahikawa https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6890.html One way is more than Y4,000

Here "Flexible" means you can choose dates.
The Flexible 4-day Pass can be used
on any 4 days within the 10 days from the day of issue.

The regular JR cost for the Hakodate and Toya round trip from Sapporo
is estimated at 17550 yen (without seat reservation) to 19110 yen (with your seats reserved).
When you add the suggested round trip to Asahikawa, this pass would pay off.
