Hi All,
From December 30th to January 12th, I'll be in Kyushu and am currently planning my where I will be staying. My first night will be near Munakata Taisha, but I'm looking for a nice onsen hotel for 2 nights between December 31st and January 2nd while many of the attractions in Kyushu are closed.
As expected, I'm finding it extremely difficult to find a place in my budget (around 25,000 yen for 2 nights for a single - I don't expect dinner for that price). I'd love to stay in something like a Yukai Resort for 2 nights but alas the only one is booked out during that time (as expected)...
Any suggestions on possible places to stay in Fukuoka, Oita, Saga or as far as Nagasaki prefecture for a simple onsen hotel would be much appreciated.
