Luggage lockers at Inuyama or Unuma station?

Hi everyone! I am thinking of making a stop at Inuyama to see the famous castle on my journey from Nagoya to Takayama in November. Since the castle is almost right on the track it seems it would be easy to stop, see the castle, and then walk to Unuma station to catch a train to Takayama. However, I don't know if I want to make this type of stop if I have to carry my luggage around for the entire visit, so I wanted to hear if anyone here has experience with the stations and knows whether or not there are lockers one could store luggage in? Thank you in advance! - Louise

There seems to be a luggage storage office in Inyuyama Tourist Information Center, which is outside the ticket gates of Inuyama Station, open from 9:00 to 17:00. Coin lockers are inside the south ticket gate. and then walk to Unuma station to catch a train to Takayama You can take a Meitetsu Local train to Shin Unuma Station, pass through the East Ticket Gate on the 1st floor, go up by elevator to the entrance on the upper floor and walk a little to (JR) Unuma Station (West Entrance). http://railway.jr-central.co.jp/station-guide/tokai/unuma/_img/unuma17...After 10:22 and before 17:26, Limited Express trains skip Unuma Station. You can take a Local train to Mino-Ota Station and catch there Limited Express Hida for Takayama (or further Toyama).
