Japan for 22 days, what JR pass should I get? 2018/8/25 23:10
Osaka 3/25 -30 (5nights)
Hiroshima 3/30-4/1 (2nights)
Kyoto 4/1-4/7 (6nights)
Tokyo 4/8-4/15 (8nights)
Nara 4/15-17 (2 nights)
Then back to Osaka for a night To fly out.
Thatfs my itinerary... any recommendations ?

No pass will pay off. Regular tickets will be cheapest. If you really want to save money, you should look into overnight buses:

Perhaps for your Osaka - Hiroshima - ShinOsaka/Kyoto you can use JR Kansai Hiroshima Area Pass https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2361_kansai_hiroshima.html since one way is already almost Y10,000

Also try to plan your longer daytrips to take advantage of the 5 days pass.

Have you considered flying out from Tokyo Haneda [HND] or Narita [NRT]?

Uji:
Regular tickets will be cheapest.

JR-West Kansai-Hiroshima Area pass can pay off
for Osaka -- Hiroshima -- Kyoto.

Traveling with this pass may have a few small demerits, though.
