Rail passes to buy in advanced

Hi, will be going to Osaka in October 2018 for 5 days, wonder if it is more economical to buy rail passes in advanced or is buying at the counter better since I will not be taking many trip a day.
If Rail passes are more economical, which pass should I buy.
I am going to the following places:
Kansai Airport to Namba Station (2 ways)
Universal Studio Japan
Osaka Aquarium
Cup Noodle Museum
Pokémon Center
Dontonbori
and KOBE (via Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Shin Kobe)

Just buy a IC card like Icoca when you arrive.
