Rail tickets 2018/8/31 11:44
Hi! I plan to visit for 5 days in October. Do I need to buy Japan rail pass for 7 days if i travel from Osaka airport-Kyoto, Kyoto-Tokyo, Tokyo - Narita airport? What is the best way to move inside the city ? car, bus, metro?

Don't get the national rail pass - too expensive.
For travel around the cities, depends which one. Kyoto is normally a combination of train/bus for many people (I use train/taxi because the buses are so crowded/slow).
For Tokyo, trains - lots of different companies - very efficient and good coverage in the central city areas.
In Tokyo I do occasionally use the bus when I am in the outer reaches of the city or getting to some obscure location (normally some aspect of officialdom - you are unlikely to be heading to too many of those.
