Hi,
We are considering the long journey to Korentai in late Oct before the famed Autumn leaves. The area looks delightful.....any thoughts appreciated.

We love our visit to Korankei during autumn foliage season (extremely crowded though), but have doubt whether it is worth going outside that period.

Korankei even during the koyo season , IMHO, is not that spectacular. In fact, the whole area is completely overrated. My 2-cents, go elsewhere.
