We are arriving with car to Kyoto on 30 November for 3 days and staying in Gion area. Originally we planned to use 3 day travel card but one in our party has difficulty walking and we are considering having travel pass for 2 days and one day to drive to Genko an, Kinkakuji and Shimogano Shrine in the morning and afternoon to Inari, Tofukuju and Sanjusangendo.
Please can somebody let us know whether this is feasible and are there parking spaces available around that area. Thank you

Note that Kyoto is one of the worst places to drive in Japan due to the huge amount of traffic and tourists - along with lack of parking. November is also autumn leaves which brings even more traffic.

While parking is available. Most private vehicle parking is further away that what public transport can get.
Also driving is Kyoto is super slow. One hour from one side to the other.

If there are 4 of you total, or less, I would consider riding the taxi. Fare split 4 ways is not so bad. Kyoto is best explored on foot.
