Suggestions for visiting Chugoku and Kansai

I am planning a trip to Japan, between February and March 2019.

What do you think about the plan below? Maybe I should add or delete something?

1. Arrival / Kobe
2. Himeji
3. Kyoto (Baikasai Plum Blossom Festival)
4. Hiroshima
5. Miyajima
6. Onomichi
7. Fukuyama
8. Okayama and Kurashiki
9. Koyasan
10. Wakayama
11. Osaka / Departure

I've been to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara before.

How many days will you be in Japan? 1 week won't be enough to see all of that. I recommend Iwakuni, Bitchu and Mitaki dera in Chugoku. In Kansai I recommend the Kumano route, Uji and Iga-Ueno.
If you have time, you could explore Tottori and relax in Kinosaki Onsen.
For transport I recommend a JR regional pass, namely JR west (they have some options of this pass, the ond I bought for me was the Sanyo Sanin one).

I think you will have enough time to explore these places. I recommend you to buy Kansai Area Pass

for the first three days and stay in Kobe (Sannomiya is the name of the JR train station for the city center of Kobe). You can day trip to Himeji and Kyoto with JR's Special Rapid train (not Shinkansen).

For day 4 to 8, buy Kansai Hiroshima Area Pass (5 days)

Stay 2 nights in Hiroshima and then 2 nights in Okayama. On day 8 evening, move to Osaka to stay the night (preferably around Nankai Namba station). I am not sure why you choose Wakayama for the day 10 since it is not touristic town.
