Self drive at Hokkaido 2018/11/10 12:17
hi,
I would like to self-drive for my family trip with a family of 5 adult 2 child (age 4 to 6) 1 infant (below 2)
any advice for the car size base on my family member?
my international licences should be B class ( my Singapore licence is class 3)
we would have 3 to 4 big luggage with 2 strollers.
do I need to rent a child seat or booster for the 6 years old child?

any Itinerary to share if I'm traveling from early May for 7 days at Hokkaido?
possible to view sakura at Hokkaido at mid of May?
Kindly advice.
Thanks

I would suggest a 8 seater van.

You need a child seat for under 5 years old child by Japanese law.

The best time to look at sakura in Hokkaido is early May.
It might be possible to view sakura Kushiro, Nenuro area at mid May, but it depends on
the weather each year.
