Hi, I am travelling in a big group with babies and I am confused to plan the itinerary covering the following places. Can someone please guide me how I should plan effectively as I don't want to tired out the kids?
I will travel from Tokyo to Kyoto and will be staying at Kujo. I have 3 nights in Kyoto.
Places of interest: - Himeji - Nara - Fushimi Inari - Higashiyama area (including Kiyomizu dera and Gion) - Arashiyama area

I would take it slow with kids and be prepared to change plans.
I would do - day 1 Arashiyama - day 2 Nara and Inari shrine (depending which part is more important to you, I would start there) - day 3 stay in Kyoto
Ie skip Himeiji. Itfs a trip from Kyoto, you already have spend some time in transport on the Nara day and a little bit on the Arashiyama day, so just get some time in Kyoto proper as well.
If you want to stick with Himeiji you essentially have no time for Kyoto, so you could as well stay in Osaka which might be cheaper.
Just my two cents.
Enjoy your trip to Japan!

3 nights = 2 full days, maybe an extra half day? as in arrival day
What you have listed to do, there isn't enough time.
Himeji is around 4 hours (including travel time from Kyoto) Arashiyama is 4 hours, 6 hours if including railway Nara is 6 hours to full day Kiyomizudera/Higshiyama is 4 hours to full day Fushimi Inari is 90 mins base temple area to 3 hours including walk.
You could do Fushimi Inari on your arrival or departure day, as in 3pm before dinner on arrival day, or 7am before hotel checkouton departure day.
I think the about of travel you need for Himeji outweights the actual time spent at the location to warrant this option.
So pick two of three from Arashiyama, Nara and Kiyomizudera/Hihashiyama.

Thanks guys! Guess I will skip Himeji since it is really long journey and most people suggest Nara for families.
I am thinking of this:
Day 1 (Arrival at 11am from Tokyo to Kyoto; 3 hr ride on Shinkansen) 12pm - 1pm --> Lunch at Kyoto station so that we can stretch a little from the long ride 1pm - 5pm --> Visit Fushimi Inari
Day 2 : Higashiyama area Morning --> Kiyomizudera, Ninenzaka / Sannenzaka, Gion Afternoon --> Nishiki Market / Teramachi
Day 3: Morning --> Nara Afternoon --> Arashiyama area (Bamboo Groves, Togetsukyo Bridge) Evening --> Teramachi and Shinkyogoku Shopping Arcades
Does it sounds ok?

Day 2 : Higashiyama area Morning --> Kiyomizudera, Ninenzaka / Sannenzaka, Gion Afternoon --> Nishiki Market / Teramachi
I would go to Arashiyama in the morning (kids can be entertained with monkeys, boat- or train ride), and walk in Higasiyama & Gion afternoon. Specially Gion shows it's charm in the evening. These shopping arcades can be quite hard with babies.
Day 3: Morning --> Nara Afternoon --> Arashiyama area (Bamboo Groves, Togetsukyo Bridge) Evening --> Teramachi and Shinkyogoku Shopping Arcades
Nara is a full day trip, no way you can do both same day. Deers are funny, but also a bit scary as they go to you and take your food without asking...

A big group with babies: that can be difficult to travel by bus (i.e., Kiyomizudera; it is easier during non peak hours), so I would put priorities on train destinations (Fushimi-inari, Nara, Arashiyama). Expect to walk a LOT. My favorite Kyoto/Nara VLog with babies: https://youtu.be/Zebzd7EnlSM

I plan to visit Arashiyama for half day (morning) and could you please advise the proper flow for walking itinerary from Saga-Arashiyama station to cover the following places?
Are there any food street or interesting eating places during this trip? ] Start and end at Saga-Arashiyama: 1. Bamboo groves 2. Togetsukyo Bridge 3. Kimono forest
If you have detailed directions on how to navigate, it will be great!
PS: I will skip Monkey Park as it is a long hike up and we are afraid of monkey. Also, we won't be doing the Sagano boat since we have a baby and it is hard to manage him on a rocky boat. Unfortunately, we are also unable to get tickets for Sagano Scenic Railway and I don't want to risk going to the station without a ticket.

Those 3 sights are all on the same street within 300m of each other. Now need for detailed planning.
If you arrive at Arashoyama station. The Kimono Forect is there.
If you arrive at Saga-Asahiyama Station. You just follow the big blue tourist signs.
