Hi
Is the first week of December a busy time for Tokyo and Kyoto?
Do I need to book bullet trains in advance?
I want to go to Arashiyama Hanatouro and am wondering how much time is needed there?

It can be busy - it depends on how late fall colours are. Tokyo and Kyoto are also starting to be busy all year round now due to a large increase in tourism numbers to Japan in general over the past 2 years.
