Japan Rail, Icoca or Kansai Pass?

Hi Guys, Family and I are on our first trip to Japan, Super Excited!!! :). I desperately need help Icoca Card or JR Pass or Kansai Pass???!!! It's all so confusing.
Here's our itinerary
Osaka
Osakako St is our primary train stop.
Wednesday Shitennoji Temple Osaka Castle and Nishinomaru Garden Osaka Station City Shopping Evening Dotonbori
Thursday USJ
Friday Nara Deer Park and Todai-ji Temple at the Park Kyoto (Kinkakuji Temple ((Golden Pavilion)) + Gardens and Toji Temple + Kobo San Markets 8am - 4pm) Gion Geisha @ Hanami-koji
Saturday Cup Noodle Museum Minoo National Park Last Minute Shopping
Sunday off to the snow
Yudanaka St @ Yamanouchi
Monday Snow Monkeys Baio-ji Temple Yamanouchi Walk the village
Tuesday Kita Shigakogen (Ryuoo Ski park)
Wednesday off to Tokyo
Shinagawa St is our primary station
Fish Market Evening Tokyo Tower / Illumination Lights / Dinner
Thursday Meji Shrine and Gardens Harajuku - Takeshita Street Akihabara Shopping
Friday we fly back home via Haneda Airport.

No need for JR pass. Just get IC card for your local travel. And buy ricket for your long distance travel.

Thanks. I thought so, also would we be better getting a kintetsu pass for nara and kyoto?

Most of the IC cards including Icoca, are interoperated. So you don't have to use different cards on different regions. My recommendation is Icoca because your first visit is Osaka. You can also use it in Kyoto, Nara and Tokyo.
FYI Last week I went to Kyoto, Osaka and Nagoya on business from Tokyo. I had only one card, Suica (JR pass) , but could use it anywhere without problem.
