Travel to japan for 12 nights

We are family group of 9 plan to travel to japan for the first time. Our trip is 12 nights, arrive in tokyo and depart from osaka. We are interest to visit Tokyo, Hakone, Toyama, Takayama, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka.

Could you please advise us the itinerary to visit those places without going forth and back.

Seven locations in 12 days isnt realistic.

I would allow 4 days each for Tokyo and Kyoto. Allowing 4 days for 2 other locations.

One thread for accommodation suggestions. One thread for itinerary suggestions. Either do some research yourself or find a travel agent. This is not one.

12 nights is not a lot of time to cover so many places. Do you realise that the distance between Tokyo and Hiroshima is about like Jakarta to Surabaya to put into your country's perspective.

If you really want to cover as many places as possible then possibly this rough plan but will be rather hectic for my liking:-

Tokyo - 4 nights with daytrip to Hakone
Takayama - 2 nights with daytrip to Shirakawago
Hiroshima / Miyajima - 2 nights
Osaka or Kyoto - 4 nights since no point moving hotels as the two cities are about half an hour apart

Agree. This is too much moving around that you might not have enough time in one place. Suggest to reduce the places you mentioned. Enjoy planning your trip!
