Traveling from KIX airport to Hoyasan

Is it possible to travel from KIX airport to Hoyasan via train or bus? I am traveling to Osaka in March of 2019. I would like to travel to Hoyasan and spend the night there before coming back to Osaka and on to Kyoto. I would like to go to Hoyasan directly from the KIX airport after I land. Thank you.
