Hallo,
on the first trip I made we stayed at this hotel, very good indeed:
Sakura Hostel Asakusa
111-0032 Präfektur Tokyo, Taito-ku, Asakusa 2-24-2

this year there were no more vacancies and we stayed in this, I can not tell you which is the best, both were great with great location.
see the internet on the comments.

I always stay here in Asakusa, single room with private bathroom or shared room, prices stay the same all you round, you have to message them for reservation, only a few minutes walk to the Tawaramachi station and Tsukuba express Asakusa Station.

Can't go wrong with either Ueno or Asakusa for accomodation.
I have stayed in below hostels in Asakusa:
https://oakhostel.com/fuji/ - a little bit of a walk from Asakusa station, but liked it more than Bunka Hostel mentioned below, as it was less busy
https://bunkahostel.jp/ - smack in the middle of busy Asakusa streets, very near to Sensoji temple, lots of restaurants nearby

If you are traveling via Narita airport:
I took the Keisei Access Express line from Narita to Asakusa (direct). It costs 1290yen. I found this to be the next cheaper option after the buses to reach Asakusa.

In Taito-ku, you'll find lots of places, especially south of Minimi-Senju Stn.
A few are the Juyoh Hotel

Kangaroo Hotel
http://kangaroohotel.jp/
And lots more. Nothing fancy, but clean, quiet, decent.
My stay for a night was 3000 yen. Simply amazing.

I like the B Conte Asakusa hotel because itfs like a little apartment for a good price. Washer and dryer and full kitchenette with full-size fridge. Great location, too, next to Senso-ji. The only downside is that the front desk closes at night, but if you donft mind that, itfs a good choice.
