Is this JR rail pass a non-JR track? 2019/1/1 18:59
Does this JR track does not covered by JR Rail Pass (it uses part of non-JR Track)?
Shin-Hakodate Hokuto --- Tazawako station (via Morioka station)
It runs by Shinkansen Hayabusa and Komachi which both are covered by JR Pass.

I read from Japan Guide that partial of JR Hanawa Line runs on non-JR Track but need help if my route pass this track and I'd need pay additional fee.

From the article:
Morioka - Koma
Iwate Ginga Railway
Local trains along the JR Hanawa Line use the railway tracks of the Iwate Ginga Railway between Morioka and Koma

You are not going to use the JR Hanawa Line! As you state yourself, the pass fully covers the trip by Hayabusa and Komachi trains.

Shin-Hakodate Hokuto to Tazawako is fully covered by the JR Pass unless you wanted to add in some slower trains for some detours.
