Alternative to Ginzan Onsen

We decided on short notice to visit Japan and we would like to be in the snow. Unfortunately Ginzan Onsen is fully booked on the days we are travelling. What other snow towns similar to Ginzan Onsen would you suggest? We are travelling the second week of February. Thank you.

if you prefer more "secret", off the beaten path, onsen, then Naruko Onsen has some great ones.
