1 Month Intinerary for Everything Japan 2019/2/8 03:38
Hi all, we've been lucky enough to bag a ticket bundle for the RWC 2019. It's the England package so will be basing our tour around the games. First time in Japan.

We want to fully immerse ourselves into everything (culture, food, history, nature, people. architecture) Japan and are currently planning our itinerary.

We arrive in Sapporo Thursday 19th Sept - 25th Sept (Apartment booked) - Eng v Tonga 22nd (food & beer festival is on)
Kobe 25th - 28th (Love hotel booked) - Eng v USA 26th
Osaka 28th - 29th (Capsule hotel booked) Can be changed.
Kyoto 29th Sept - 4th Oct (Nothing booked)
Tokyo 4th - 11th Oct (Apartment booked) - Eng v Argentina 5th
Yokohama 11th - 14th Oct (Nothing booked) - Eng v France 12th

Would love to visit Hiroshima too. We will be using our stop as a base to venture further out into the regions.

Suggestions please, thank you.

What exactly is the question?

Hiroshima you ca fit in somewhere between Kobe and your next destination.

What to visit in Japan will tell you a guidebook or this (and other) webpages.

Note Tokyo and Yokohama as well as Kyoto and Osaka are only about 30 min apart by train so many people choose not to change accommodation, but itfs fine if you decide otherwise.

Enjoy planning your trip to Japan!

You can start on this website by looking up every city you are going to be in - then you can get some good ideas of what you might like to see. If you want more ideas, each city has its own website with tourist guide that has great places listed nowhere else.
There should be plenty to fill up your time.
As one suggestion for Kansai, I suggest you add half to a full day to see Nara. It has some excellent sights.

You're spending a few nights at a love hotel?

Staying multiple nights at a love hotel is a viable and sensible option on occasion. I've actually done that before (cost heaps - peak season in Kyoto), but it was a very good and spacious room.
Plus, they said they wanted to experience lots of different aspects of Japan.
