I want to send my luggage from a Toyoko Inn near shin-Osaka station to the Granvia Osaka Hotel, but I will not arrive at the Granvia until 9 days later. Will the takuhaibin service store my luggage until just before my arrival at Granvia.

Maybe you can try to ask your first hotel if they can store it for you?

I would call your second hotel to ask if they can hold your luggage for some days before your arrival. Takuhaibin holds luggage for max of 7 days.

Just 2 days extra [ max 7 day], so it may be possible for Takkyubin company to keep 9 days. Ask them first. If not, ask the second hotel to keep it 2 extra days.
Or ask both hotels to keep one day each. Usually Takkyubin pick-up time at the hotels is fixed every day (for example, between 2-4 pm). Ask first hotel to put your luggage on the next day pick up [+1 day]. Then ask the second hotel to keep one day before your check in day. [+1 day] Then it wonft be too much for them. Just an idea...

I would definitely ask the hotel.
The Granvia is a huge hotel and might not have any problem holding suitcases for 2 or 3 days.
Good luck!
