Snow wall corridor via Tateyama or Ogizawa

Greetings! Had visited Kurobe Dam 2 years ago, but not beyond such as the Snow Wall Corridor. Planning to visit the Snow Wall Corridor this May. Which way would be better to approach from i.e. via Tateyama Station or Ogizawa? Can I u-turn at any time and get back to where I'd started? Thanks!

Any map shows Tayeyama as closer to the snow wall. If you are planning to see the snow wall and u-turning. This would be the side to access from.

Thank you. As Ifll be going on 15 May, will going via either Toyama or Ogizawa make a difference considering that itfs a peak season and that Ifd visited Kurobe Dam? Ifll be staying in Nagano actually
