We want to bring a group of singers to japan for a 2day concert. How do we get a temporary working visa for them?

Look at the Japanese Embassy website for their country, or contact Immigration directly. They have the official answer.

And you post a question here? Do you not have contact with concert promoter/organizer? Aren't there any PR people who handle this sort of thing? You will probably need an Entertainer type working visa. And as with normal visa application, you will need COE from Japan, and make visa application with it at Japanese embassy. Unless you are well known artist, COE is required. The procedure.
