My girl friend is having heat rash on her hands and arms. Is there any lotion I can get for her at a local store or drug store?

Just go with her to a pharmacy and show it to the pharmacist. Japan is a country full of creams and drugs, I am sure the pharmacist will have something.

FYI
"あせも(Asemo)" is heat rash in Japanese, in case you need to explain at the drug store.
