looking for a daytrip in the Hiroshima, okayama, hyogo area
saw Hiroshima, Miyajima allready

What time? If it's during the sakura or koyo season, then Iwakuni. Otherwise Tomonoura. You could even conceivably spend one half of the day at both; travel between the two doesn't take too much time since you can take the Shinkansen from Shin-Iwakuni to Fukuyama.

I normally do a 1/2 day to Iwakuni (and combine with Miyajima), or you could do Okayama/Kurashiki. Kure is also ok for an afternoon visiting the battleship museum if that interests you.

when it is very warm or autumn Sandankyo Gorge is wonderful. there are direct buses from hisroshima bus center and it is one of the remaining secrets not so well known by the common tourists
